Friday Night Jail Ministry (Men Only)
Every Friday night, we go into the Hennepin County Jail, downtown Minneapolis. This ministry is for those who like to share in a small group setting. We lead a Bible study, encourage, and pray with those inside. The groups meets year round from 7:00 - 8:00 pm.
Family Movie Night
Beginning in August, once a month, we will be hosting a movie night for the families in our community. This will be a chance for them to enjoy a family-friendly movie, have a few snacks - all FREE of charge. The event will take place in our new Youth Center from 6:30 - 8:30 pm. This will be a great opportunity to get involved and invite your neighbors and friends.
Special Community Outreach Events
Throughout the years, Mount Olivet has and will continue to hold special events designed to reach out to all our neighbors.
Over the past few years, we have participated in the Apple Valley 4th of July parade. This is a great time to get out and let everyone know we are here.
Last year our summer event was called the “THE PICNIC.” It was an opportunity to bless our neighbors with a great meal, special entertainment and lots of fun.
The Great Candy Adventure takes place October 31st. This is a safe and fun alternative for everyone. Food, games, entertainment and lots of candy is provided for the entire family.
